How fitment factor 2.57 have come ?
Suppose Basic on 01-01-16 = Rs 100
125% DA = 125
Enhancement for 6th PAY COMMISSION = 14.3 × ( Basic + DA )
= 14.3 ( 100 + 125 )
= 14.3 ( 225 )
= 31.117 = 32 ( round )
Fitment factor = Basic + DA + 32
= 100 + 125 + 32
= 257
It is 257/100 = 2.57 of Basic.
How you calculate your Basic pay on 01- 01- 2020 in 6th PAY COMMISSION ?
According to ROPA 2019 — this calculation is not applicable for those employees who joined in service on or after 01-01- 2016.
Notional effect on 01- 01- 2016.
No arears for 01-01-16 to 31-12 -19
Financial effect on and from 01-01- 2020
- You should put option on 01- 07- 16 after taking yearly increment on 01- 07 -16.
Multiply fitment factor 2.57 with your Basic ( 01- 07 – 16 ). This is ” KEY BASIC ” . No grade pay after that.
*Add yearly increment — —-
3% increment on 01- 07 – 2017
3% increment on 01 – 07 -2018
3% increment on 01 – 07 – 2019
- After that go to ” PAY MATRIX ” of ROPA 2019
You should find out your grade pay on 01- 07 – 2009 of ROPA 2009.
Look at 2nd line of pay matrix paralaly , showing grade pay like – 1700 , 1800 , 1900 , 2100 , 2300 , 2600 , 2900 , 3200 , 3600 , 3900 , 4100 , 4400 , 4600 , 4800 , 5400 , 5600 , — —-
Than go down vertically up to the level where you find your Basic (01-07 -19 ) , but do not find axact figure , you take next higher figure — that is your real Basic on 01- 01- 2020. - Add DA 3% ( will be announced )
- Add HRA 12%
- Add MA 500
Gross = Basic + DA + HRA + MA
Those who joined on or after 01-01-16 , you should go directly to pay matrix and find your Basic according to grade pay which is applicable for you , no need of pay fixation.
Level -1 for appointment before 01 -07 – 2019
Level – 2 for appointment before 01-07 – 2018
Level -3 for appointment before 01- 07 – 2017
Level -4 for appointment before 01- 07 – 2016
